I already have a subscription to HISTORY Vault. How do I redeem my gift subscription?

If you already purchased your subscription through historyvault.com, your gift subscription can be redeemed online. The time period and value of the gift will be applied to your existing account at the end of your current billing cycle. Sign in to 'My Account' and click on 'Redeem a Gift.'


If your purchase was through iTunes, Roku or Google Play, you first will need to cancel that subscription before redeeming your gift subscription. Here’s how to cancel your current subscription and use your gift subscription:

 
For iTunes:

  1. For iTunes, follow these steps to cancel your iTunes subscription.
  2. Wait until your current billing cycle ends.
  3. Head to historyvault.com to re-subscribe. Sign in to historyvault.com, click on 'My Account,' and select Redeem a Gift.

For Roku:

  1. Follow these steps to cancel your Roku subscription.
  2. Wait until your current billing cycle ends.
  3. Head to historyvault.com to re-subscribe. Sign in to historyvault.com, click on 'My Account,' and select Redeem a Gift.

For Google Play:

  1. Follow these steps to cancel your Google Play subscription.
  2. Wait until your current billing cycle ends.
  3. Head to historyvault.com to re-subscribe. Sign in to historyvault.com, click on 'My Account,' and select Redeem a Gift.

For Apple TV (4th generation):

  1. Follow these steps to cancel on Apple TV.
  2. Wait until your current billing cycle ends.
  3. Head to historyvault.com to re-subscribe. Sign in to historyvault.com, click on 'My Account,' and select Redeem a Gift.
